Estimate -Terms & Conditions

This estimate is based on our visual inspection only, further damage & or extra parts/sublets maybe required upon dismantle. We will contact the Owner/Agent to obtain authorisation to proceed with any extra repairs either verbally, & or in writing. The Owner/Agent by providing such authorisation either verbally or in writing consents to the payment of all additional charges associated with the required works. This estimate is an assessment of the impact/described damage only & does not cover any additional stone chips, scratches & or extra dents/imperfections. Please notify our admin staff if an extra quote is required to include such items that can be undertaken at the time of the main repair.

Parts/sublets & or other material prices are subject to suppliers invoice and subject to their T&C’s and maybe subject to change without notice to us.

The Owner/Agent upon booking their vehicle in for the purpose of the estimated repairs duly authorises us (McAully Group Pty Ltd) to order any parts/sublets & or other materials as necessary to carry out the said repairs (estimate). Unless otherwise agreed in writing by McAully Group Pty Ltd, the Owner/Agent must pay the full cost of obtaining any and or all of these goods.

During the repair process some or all of your data may be lost, please ensure that you have saved all of your data prior to the commencement of repairs, EG;

  1. Stored Music files
  2. GPS/Map settings
  3. Files stored in on-board computers
  4. Contacts/Phone Numbers
  5. Pre-recorded settings for; seats, mirrors, steering wheel etc.

TOW-INS:

The Estimate will be prepared as soon as possible and provided to you via email, The Owner/Agent has two (2) days after the Estimate has been sent to notify us as to the commencement of repairs or a pick up date for the vehicle, that must not exceed two (2) business days after email notification has been sent otherwise a storage fee of $20.00 per day is then applicable.

All goods accepted from the owner/Agent are subject to the Disposal of Uncollected Goods Act 1967. Under the Act, uncollected goods may be sold six (6) months after the date on which they were ready for collection.

Whilst all care is taken while your vehicle is with Us we will not be liable for replacing, (but not limited to):

  1. Glass breakage (from removal/refit)
  2. Batteries that may lose charge
  3. Mechanical/Electrical Faults
  4. Consumable items eg: moulds/clips

During the Repair phase we will contact you & advise you of the estimated completion date. At this time the date advised is only an estimate & please note that delays can and do occur. We will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of such instances accordingly. Your patience is appreciated should this occur.

You will be notified of a final collection date when your vehicle has entered the final stages of its repair. This date will also advise you of the time that you must attend on that date to collect your vehicle.

All vehicles are stored securely in our workshops every night and the vehicles keys stored separately.

All amounts owing (including any excess amounts) are payable on or before delivery via our approved methods; EFT, EFTPOS, Credit Card, Cash.

NOTE: 1% Fee payable on all accepted credit card transactions.

Storage fee of $20.00 per day is applicable to all vehicles not collected within 48 hours of notification of collection.

Any amounts deemed payable and not paid by the due date will incur interest on that amount at the rate applicable under the QLD Security of Payment Act s13 (3) & all costs associated with collecting the debt in full.
